How Youth Ambitions Began and Why It Matters
Youth Ambitions began in 2022 as an Instagram page, initially showcasing models and athletes from around the world. The goal was to highlight stories of dedication and passion, inspiring others by showing the many ways young people were achieving success. But who created Youth Ambitions, and what drives its mission?
Meet Noah, the founder of Youth Ambitions. At just 18 years old, he was inspired to motivate young people, parents, and teenagers across the globe. Noah’s vision went beyond simply posting inspiring stories; he wanted to help youth, ages 5-17, discover and follow their passions, whether in sports, the arts, or other pursuits. This vision is the foundation of Youth Ambitions and remains central to everything we do.
Since those early days, Youth Ambitions has expanded its reach and impact, evolving from a source of online inspiration to providing real-world support. But getting here wasn’t easy. One of our turning points came when we saw a story on Instagram from a user named “swaggy_zacky”. He was seeking sponsorship for his upcoming wrestling season, and after a few days of consideration and back-and-forth conversations, we made a decision that marked a true beginning for Youth Ambitions.
Sponsoring Zack for his season felt like the start of something real. In return, we asked only to be tagged in his posts and stories, needing no other recognition. This simplicity is what makes Youth Ambitions unique. Rather than providing just clothing, accessories, or equipment, we offer funds directly to cover the costs, empowering young people to acquire the resources they need themselves. Supporting them this way keeps our mission genuine and cantered on their true needs.
Supporting Zack was a defining moment for Youth Ambitions, but the joy didn’t stop there. Each new follower, every message from an athlete hoping to be featured, brought a sense of excitement and fulfilment. Seeing Youth Ambitions grow, knowing that it resonated with others, fuelled my drive to keep going. As the founder, Noah, put it: “It made me feel truly happy every time we gained a new follower or received a message from an athlete wanting to be part of our page. That feeling has returned each time we reach new milestones within Youth Ambitions.”
Growing Impact
What began as a small Instagram page has transformed into a platform for real change. As Youth Ambitions grew, so did our impact. Sponsoring young people in activities they love, we’ve helped over 40 kids pursue their passions from sports to creative arts all fully funded by our mission. This journey has shown us that every bit of support opens new doors for these young people, enabling them to build confidence, develop skills, and dream big.
Today, Youth Ambitions sponsors is more than just an account online; it’s a community committed to motivating the next generation. We currently sponsor four young individuals on a monthly basis, supporting them in ways that extend beyond financial assistance. We’re providing inspiration, motivation, and the resources they need to achieve their goals.
Through it all, Youth Ambitions continues to reach new milestones, with each sponsorship and success story strengthening our mission. To further demonstrate our commitment and impact, we hosted a successful event in São Paulo for the BJJ Academy, Genesis. This event, held in collaboration with Vitor, one of our sponsored athletes, came to life thanks to the support of his mother and two other Youth Ambitions participants, who were instrumental in planning it.
Finally in June 8th 2024 the event went ahead and it marked a milestone, the second biggest milestone we have accomplished to date. You can read more about the event here and the challenges, thoughts and reflecting behind it here.
Our Vision for the Future
As we look ahead, Youth Ambitions is committed to expanding our reach and deepening our impact. Our mission to motivate young people through sports, arts, and other passions is only just beginning. We envision a future where more youth, regardless of background, have the opportunity to pursue what they love and develop skills that will benefit them for life.
A recent milestone of reaching 10,000 followers on Instagram, along with the launch of this website, has strengthened our connection to a global community that believes in our mission. These achievements inspire us to keep growing, building a platform where we can reach even more young people and share their stories.
To achieve this, we plan to grow our network of sponsors and partners, allowing us to provide more resources, mentorship opportunities, and support to youth across the globe. We also aim to host more events, like our recent success in São Paulo, to bring together communities, showcase young talent, and inspire others to get involved.
Our ultimate goal is to create a world where every young person feels supported in discovering their passions and achieving their potential. As Youth Ambitions continues to grow, we’ll work toward a brighter future, one where today’s youth are empowered to become tomorrow’s leaders.
